Marc Schader is Global Chief Client Officer for Havas Group Media. He leads Havas International and is responsible for the management of all the Group’s international client relationships.
Marc started in the media agency business in 2004 joining MPG as SVP Global Network Development Director, successfully overseeing business development internationally.
In 2013, Marc was appointed Global Chief Commercial Officer responsible for all commercial and marketing activities at Havas Group Media and led major Group wins such as Emirates, JDE, LGE, Michelin, Swarovski, Telefónica, among others.
In 2016 Marc was named Chief Growth Officer, overseeing growth at both the business development and operational level.
In November 2018, Marc was appointed Global Chief Client Officer.
In recognition of his contribution to the industry, Marc was named Media Innovator of the Year by Internationalist magazine in 2010 and was President of the Jury of the Cristal Festival 2012, as well as jury member at the Cannes Lions Festival. He is also Havas Media Group’s representative at the European Association of Communications Agencies.
Previous to Havas, Marc spent 13 years in the creative agency business at Young & Rubicam, managing clients locally, regionally and globally at Y&R New York, Y&R Europe in London, and Y&R Madrid.
Born and raised in Spain, Marc graduated from Trinity College in Connecticut with honors, earning a B.A. in political science and international relations. He also studied in Paris at l’Ecole des Etudes Politiques and the Université de Paris VIII.
Marc has volunteered in various U.S. presidential elections while in Spain. He served as a TV commentator during the 2004 U.S. presidential election.
