In Maria’s role as Chief Insights & Analytics Officer for Havas Group, she leads a team of over 200 people across over 40 countries. She manages consumer, brand and market studies, including the group’s proprietary analysis Meaningful Brands® and leads the Global Analytics practice, responsible for solutions that provide concrete performance measurement on client business objectives.
Most recently, Maria has been named the Chief Executive Officer of Havas X, the new Innovation practice that brings together the innovation brands and talents within Havas Group. Under Maria’s leadership Havas X focuses on the exploration of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Future Ecosystems, allowing for a more effective use of innovation expertise internally as well as providing value-added services that drive more meaningful impact on clients’ businesses.
Maria joined Havas in 2014 after 18 years of experience in North America, Latin America and Europe. She has held both operational and strategic marketing roles at various FMCG blue chips, most notably Colgate Palmolive Co & Mondelez.
Maria has spoken at several media and client industry events, most recently at The Guardian’s Changing Media Summit, Cartagena Inspira and Mumbrella Australia. She has also been a Media Jury member for Cristal Media Festival, Dubai Lynx and Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
Maria is fluent in French, Spanish and English. She lives in Paris with her three children.
